Subject: How to perform to camera for online material (social media & online competitions)

$49.00 per registrant

This MELODIQUE workshop is for any singer of any age, genre, or level of experience. Participants can attend from anywhere in the world. You do not need to be a student at our school to participate in our workshops.

We will guide each participant on:

* Posture and presentation
* Use of screen space
* Expressions and gestures
* Vocal techniques
* Microphone technique
* Use of technology for high-quality audio and visual presentation
* Online platforms and marketing performance material (for the 16+ participants only)

Please be aware that this event may be postponed for reasons such as inadequate numbers. If registrations exceed our maximum numbers, we will likely propose an additional date or time slot to cater and allocate participants in accordance with their preferences. Registrants will be informed promptly of any changes.

Depending on time constraints, there will ideally be an opportunity for participants to perform a whole or part of a song to the group. For this reason, we ask each participant to prepare one performance piece to potentially present to your group and coach. You can indicate in your registration if you’d like to participate this way. It is not mandatory to perform – simply an option.

’Sing to Camera’ workshop is a group experience and is be held online via Zoom. Once payment and registration has been processed you will receive the relevant link and password.

All Melodique tutors/coaches have their NSW Working With Children Check and are experienced in training both children and adults alike. Again, this workshop is for all ages!

MELODIQUE Vocal Workshop – Sunday 29 Aug 2021, 5:00-6:00pm

This MELODIQUE workshop welcomes vocalists from the age of 17. Any singer of any genre or level of experience can attend, and you do not need to be a student at our school to participate.Please prepare one performance piece of your choice to present to your group and our coaches.

We will guide each participant on microphone techniques, posture and presentation, use of stage space, expressions and gestures, audience engagement, introductions and interactions, and vocal techniques.

We forecast that it will be a 1-hour event with  approximately 6 participants. Please be aware that this event may be postponed for reasons such as inadequate numbers. If registrations exceed our minimum numbers, we will likely propose an additional date or time-slot to cater and allocate participants in accordance with preferences.

We ask that each participant please attend the duration of the workshop, as a large part of the learning is via the other participants’ assessment experiences as they are encouraged and advised by our professionals.

The $49 cost of this workshop covers each participant to present a single piece. If any participant would like to present more than one piece, then please let us know as we may be able to extend your time and reestablish your fee. (Note: this increased fee will only be applicable to any participant choosing to increase their time slot and will not be applicable to the entire group.)
